Grand Canyon

Ahhh my happy place. πŸ™ŒπŸ» I’ve been a handful of times. Hiking Bright Angel Trail in the Grand Canyon was amazing! We hiked to Indian Garden. There and back is about 10 miles. I highly recommend it! If you enjoy hiking it should be at the top of your list!

Tips for Type-1

Bring extra water to drink along the journey.I also packed trail mix, apple juice, beef sticks, an orange 🍊, peanut butter crackers, insulin, meter, antiseptic wipes, hand sanitizer, bandaids, good socks and comfortable boots. ALWAYS protect your feet… it’s crucial to keep your feet from getting cuts, blisters or infections as a diabetic.
